Filmhds Wants You To Go To The Movies With New Tomb Raider Ad, Lately, the streaming platform has been serving up trailers for the new Warner Bros. Tomb Raider movie, debuting March 16, through which viewers can purchase tickets to see the show at a local theater, as reported by Variety. The ad leads interested viewers to a separate page where they can look up different theaters and show times. However, those who want to purchase tickets will have to do so through their phones. After picking a specific Tomb Raider viewing time and place, users then get a link sent to their emails through which they can actually buy a ticket.

We are definitely trying to connect the experiences of watching a piece of content to buying a piece of content—a movie ticket, explained Warner Bros. executive VP of marketing and chief data strategist, JP Richards, to Variety. This seeks to tap into the interest people might feel when seeing a new trailer for the first time. It’s easy in that moment for viewers to think, I should see this when it comes out. But if the movie doesn’t come out for weeks, or even months, it’s even easier to forget about that initial interest.

Tomb Raider’s Alicia Vikander’s Advice For Young Girls Will Move You. Alicia Vikander has taken Hollywood by storm ever since she won an Oscar for her role in 2015 film “The Danish Girl.” She wowed, again, in “Tulip Fever” hot nude scenes and now has her own action movie, succeeding Angelina Jolie in the “Tomb Raider” series.

Oddly, she began her career in ballet and studied with both the Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm and the School of American Ballet in New York.

But her mother is a well-known Swedish actress at the Royal Theater of Stockholm. Alicia appeared as a child in some stage productions. She got into acting through short films and television and switched careers after 10 years of ballet study.

By the time the 29-year-old actress broke out in Hollywood, she was already a seasoned actress in Europe. She caught Hollywood’s attention after appearing in “Testament of Youth” and as an erotic humanoid robot in Ex Machina.

She’s profiled in the latest issue of French publication Madame Figaro, showing off designs by Louis Vuitton Fashion Director Nicolas Ghesquière, whose previous muses included Kristen Stewart and Selena Gomez.

“I like her beauty, I like her choices that go from the most radical auteur film to blockbusters. I like her to know how to transform without betraying herself. I like his restraint very Scandinavian,” Ghesquière tells the magazine.

Check out her photos, let us know your thoughts and also check out a trailer from her upcoming “Tomb Raider” movie.

Taking on the role of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, Alicia Vikander became more than just an action heroine. Lara Croft is poised to become a role model for teens growing up in 2018 — one who uses her wits to survive despite seemingly impossible odds.

So it was no surprise that young girls had many questions for the star, ranging from how she conquers her fears to why she feels the role is so important. Check out her inspiring answers for them above!

Watch Alicia Vikander train for Lara Croft role in Tomb Raider behind-the-scenes footage, new IMAX poster released. With Tomb Raider set to arrive in cinemas this coming Friday, a new IMAX poster has been revealed for the big screen reboot of the classic video game franchise, once again featuring Alicia Vikander’s Lara Croft, along with a behind the scenes video focussing on Vikander’s training for the role of Lara Croft; check them out here…

Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished when she was scarcely a teen.  Now a young woman of 21 without any real focus or purpose, Lara navigates the chaotic streets of trendy East London as a bike courier, barely making the rent, and takes college courses, rarely making it to class.  Determined to forge her own path, she refuses to take the reins of her father’s global empire just as staunchly as she rejects the idea that he’s truly gone.

Tomb Raider Clips: Alicia Vikander Recreates Action-Packed Scenes from the Video Games

New Tomb Raider clips have been released from the Alicia Vikander-fronted reboot of the popular video game franchise. And as you’d expect, they are packed full of action.

Vikander stars as Lara Croft, the iconic action heroine from the long-running video game franchise Tomb Raider. The games were adapted to films once before, with Angelina Jolie in the lead role.

But now, Vikander gives a modern take on the character, which is based more heavily on the rebooted version first seen in the 2013 video game, Tomb Raider.
