CineAsia: India’s PVR Signs Bumper Deal With 4Dx
Nearly two dozen additional cinema auditoriums with moving seats, smells and water effects will be coming to India. That follows an agreement between the country’s leading multiplex chain, PVR, and the Korean equipment manufacturer 4Dx.
PVR opened its first 4Dx theater in Noida, near New Delhi, and is currently adding three more. The deal, signed at the CineAsia convention in Hong Kong, will see the multi-sensory equipment installed as new in PVR’s upcoming multiplexes and a handful of retrofit locations.
The company expects to have 21 4Dx screens in operation by the end of 2019. The deal requires that no other cinema operator can operate a 4Dx screen within a 10-kilometer radius of PVR’s.

Messy continuity aside, Insidious: The Last Key looks to be fluent in scares and unrelenting tension, as parapsychologist and all-around franchise lead Elise Rainier returns home to confront her innermost fears.

We’re still not sure if this movie is going to be a return-to-form, in terms of quality, but this trailer promises a ton of jump scares and a super creepy haunted house exploration in the movie.
The trailer features some of the same imagery as the first teaser for Insidious: The Last Key, but they’re not nearly as shy about showing off some of the cool shots this time around. Even though James Wan, who directed the first Insidious, is only producing this movie, you can tell it has his style embedded in its DNA. It’ll be tough for Insidious 4 to top the original, but this could
