After being gone for a decade a country star returns home to the love he left behind.
With the Thanksgiving holiday just around the corner, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the second trailer for 12 Strong, based on the declassified true story of the Horse Soldiers, the first group of soldiers sent into Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. While there is not necessarily a direct correlation between these soldiers at the Thanksgiving holiday, the trailer opens with a brief segment that features bits of footage with the messages, “Thankful for home,” “Thankful for freedom” and “Thankful for family” before the trailer begins.
On our darkest day, they were our greatest hope. 12 Strong is set in the harrowing days following 9/11 when a U.S. Special Forces team, led by their new Captain, Mitch Nelson (Hemsworth), is chosen to be the first U.S. troops sent into Afghanistan for an extremely dangerous mission.
The first trailer for Roadside Attractions and Ld Entertainment’s Forever My Girl has been released, and it has enough small-town charm and Southern romance to win your heart. Based on the novel by Heidi McLaughlin, the film stars Alex Roe (Rings) and Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day). When country music superstar Liam Page (Roe) returns to his hometown, he runs into Josie (Rothe), the bride he left at the altar, choosing fame and fortune instead.
“Sometimes you just gotta let go, take a walk on the wild side.” Roadside Attractions & Ld Entertainment have debuted the full-length official trailer for a super cheesy romantic drama called Forever My Girl, from director Bethany Ashton Wolf, adapted from Heidi McLaughlin’s novel. The film tells the story of a country music singer named Liam Page, played by Alex Roe, who leaves a woman behind at the altar to chase his dreams of fame and fortune. However, when he returns to his tiny hometown for a funeral, he reconnects with Josie and learns about another surprise (see the trailer). But of course, right? Also starring Jessica Rothe, Abby Ryder Fortson, Travis Tritt, Judith Hoag, John Benjamin Hickey. Featuring original country music performed by a bunch of country stars. Definitely for me, but maybe for some of you.

“Forever My Girl” has found a home. Variety writes that Roadside Attractions has acquired domestic distribution rights to Bethany Ashton Wolf’s romance about high school sweethearts, missed opportunities, and the lure of fame.
Based on Heidi McLaughlin’s 2012 novel of the same name, “Forever My Girl” centers on a country music star “who left his bride at the altar choosing fame and fortune instead,” the source summarizes. An unexpected trip back to his hometown forces him to face “the consequences of all that he left behind.”
“We fell in love with this special movie the moment we saw it,” said Roadside’s Howard Cohen and Eric d’Arbeloff. “‘Forever My Girl’ is the kind of film that will play everywhere but we believe it will play especially well in the heartland. It has tested through the roof around the country — far above the norms with sensational reactions across the board.”
