The story of an assassin who disguises his hits as everyday, ordinary accidents.
Brace yourselves for the utter insanity that is the Accident Man trailer. Deadpool and Logan have kicked the door wide open for Hollywood to explore the idea of R-rated comic book movies in a big way. And, in this case, in kind of a small way. Accident Man isn’t going to make its way to the big screen, but that doesn’t mean it can’t pack a serious R-rated punch. If nothing else, this footage looks absolutely nuts and, though cheesy, pretty impressive for something on a very minimal budget. Dare we say, there are even gentle shades of John Wick in here. After all, this movie was directed by a former stuntman, much like John Wick and John Wick: Chapter Two.
That said, it’s hard to expect that Accident Man, which arrives on DVD and Digital platforms on February 6, 2018, will be nearly as pleasantly surprising as John Wick.

A deadly hitman becomes an accidental hero in the pulse-pounding action-thriller Accident Man, available on DVD and Digital February 6 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Based on the underground British comic Toxic! by Pat Mills (creator of the “Judge Dredd” comic) and Tony Skinner, this darkly humorous and stylishly violent adaptation stars Scott Adkins (Doctor Strange, The Expendables 2) as Accident Man, a stone-cold killer who must face off against a rogue’s gallery of ruthless assassins in order to uncover the truth about his ex-girlfriend’s murder.
Fresh from his role in Marvel’s Doctor Strange, British action star Scott Adkins is set for another comic book adaptation, having signed on to lead the cast of Accident Man.
Created by Pat Mills, Accident Man debuted in the UK comic Toxic! and tells the story of Mike Fallon, a high-class hitman known for making his murders look like unfortunate accidents. However, his attitude changes when his ex-girlfriend is murdered and he sets out on a rampage to track down those responsible.
Adkins will take on the lead role of Fallon, and has also co-written the screenplay with Stu Small, while Jesse Johnson directs. Production will get underway this month, with a cast that also includes Ray Stevenson, Ashley Greene, David Paymer, Amy Johnston, Ray Park and Michael Jai White.
The past few weeks have been brewing something under the radar in a modest effort to surprise action fans before several details about Jesse V. Johnson’s latest film, Accident Man, were leaked online via IMDb. At this point it pretty much makes the best sense to report it all know and thus, the latest trade news via Deadline confirms most of the suspected cast along with a few surprises as follows. And indeed, it is the man himself, Marvel’s Doctor Strange co-star Scott Adkins who took to his Facebook fanpage earlier on to tease the project as a lifelong passion inspired by one of his favorite comic book characters in which he has since been confirmed to star.
